For years, a few bad seeds in the pension consulting industry have
been lining their pockets at the expense of the plans they serve
and in breech of their fiduciary obligations to the plan and the
trustees.
Finally, the regulatory agencies are beginning to shine a light
into this dark corner of the industry. But trustees and their attorneys
cannot sit idly by and wait for someone else to wave a magic wand
and clean up the misdeeds. It is the duty of each trustee of every
plan to educate themselves and make the appropriate inquiries to
determine if their plans have suffered, and make appropriate changes
to remedy any shortcomings.
The purpose of this website is not to point fingers or throw stones.
This site is intended to serve as a resource for trustees, directors,
plan sponsors and other fiduciaries to assist them in understanding
the issues.
